This month we converted the site from that original WordPress release into a plain, static website. Every page has come across: the stories, the artwork, the reviews, the team and the news. The design is the one you know. What has gone is everything behind the scenes: there is no database and there are no plugins to keep updated, so there is far less that can go wrong, and the pages load quickly.

While we were at it, we tidied up a few things:

• Both volumes now link straight to their eBook editions on Amazon.
• The dust-jacket hardback edition is marked as not currently in print.
• Twitter is now X, and the share buttons work again.
• On phones, the menu tucks away as you scroll down and comes back when you scroll up, and the cover art stays still behind the page, as it always has on a computer.
• Every piece in the gallery opens at full size.

Same stories, same art, a new foundation. If you spot anything out of place, tell us on X or Facebook.

Please contact us if you would like to request an interview with any of the editors, authors, or artists.

Thanks and good luck!

It took a long time to find just the right base to build on. We wanted something modern, responsive, and easy on the eyes. The coffee and cream theme seemed to fit all criteria and so here it is. Unfortunately picking the foundation is just the beginning, figuring out how you want to show off the content to appear can be a frustrating process.

Though it’s taking awhile, the pieces are coming together and I hope the final website will make everyone proud.
